SCHUYLER COUNTY, Mo. — A Downing man is sentenced to 60 years in prison for a shooting in 2019, that left a man dead and a woman wounded in Downing.
On Monday, September 20, Takoda Reese, 22, pleaded guilty to second degree murder, armed criminal action and first degree assault. Reese admitted to killing Kolton Wyatt Baker, of Downing, and shooting Tiffany Triplett, of Kirksville, in the leg over a long running social media feud.
Reese received 30 years for murder and 15 year consecutive sentences for each of the other charges.
