MILLER COUNTY, Mo. – A crash in Miller County, just after 2:00 a.m.. Wednesday morning, was fatal for an Eldon driver.
The Missouri Highway Patrol online report 
says Thomas W. Barnes, 55, was southbound on VFW Road, just North of Witt Road when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a fence and several posts. The vehicle then overturned, coming to rest on it’s top.
Barnes was pronounced dead at the scene by the Miller County Coroner.
