KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Police made an arrest in the investigation of a dead body found at a Kirksville apartment complex Friday.
On Saturday, investigators 
arrested Ricky Ray Sides, 50, on a 24 hour investigative hold for murder. Authorities say Colleen Gompakis, 47, was found at an apartment the two shared at Kirkwood Gardens. Police say Gompakis died of injuries to the head.
An autopsy is being performed Monday in Columbia.
