ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The St. Joseph Police Department is reporting an officer involved shooting.
The incident occurred as 
officers entered a residence in the 1000 block of South 12th Street, just after 10:30 a.m. this morning. The officers were searching for a man wanted on an arrest warrant. Authorities say the man was shot by two officers when he exhibited a firearm. The 42 year old man was transported to Mosaic Life Care, where he was pronounced dead.
The officers are on administrative leave and the Missouri Highway Patrol has been asked to conduct the investigation.
