DEKALB COUNTY, Mo. — A collision with a semi-truck was fatal for a Kansas resident Monday.
At 11:15 a.m. Monday, Missouri State Highway Patrol notes being summoned to MO-31 at Route P (just west of Clarksdale city limits) in DeKalb County to a reported crash.
Upon arrival, it was determined that Cherri Edwards, 51, was travelling westbound on Route P while the semi-truck was northbound on MO-31. Her vehicle entered MO-31 without yielding, causing the semi-truck to strike her vehicle.
Edwards’ vehicle came to rest on the east side of MO-31. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
