CLAY COUNTY, Mo. – Two men from Excelsior Springs died in a one vehicle crash in Clay County Thursday afternoon.
The crash 
occurred around 3:40 yesterday, on State Route H, just East of County Road Northeast 100th Street. The Highway Patrol report says Zachary D. Jordan, 22, was the driver of the eastbound vehicle that failed to negotiate a left hand turn, traveled off the road, struck a sign and tree before overturning into a pond.
Jordan and his passenger, Andrew B. Selby, 19, were pronounced dead at the scene.
