HENRY COUNTY, Mo. – Just after 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, Henry County deputies were dispatched to 300 Winchell in Windsor

regarding shots fired. At the home deputies found the body of a white male subject laying on the front porch with an apparent wound to the chest.
Resuscitation efforts by deputies and paramedics proved fruitless and the subject, Terry Lynn Maples, age 45 of Windsor was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another resident at the scene, Jeffrey Dean Watring, age 44 was taken into custody regarding the shooting on an investigative hold for murder 2nd degree. A search warrant was served at the residence later that afternoon by deputies and several items were seized as evidence in the investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning in Kansas City, Missouri.
