BELTON, Mo. – Just after midnight Saturday morning, Belton Police were called to the three hundred block of Grand St on a reported shooting.
Upon their 
arrival, they found a male subject with a gunshot wound in critical condition. The victim, a 38 year old male, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity will not be released pending notification of relatives.
